a) If 2x primary doses + 1x mRNA (booster 8 months after 3rd jab)

Note: mRNA booster recommended unless medically ineligible.

Umrah & Tourist Visas

UMRAH VISA

Booking of hotel, transport & ground services need to be fulfilled and PAID for before umrah visas can be issued.

Once issued, there will be NO REFUND for unutilised services if pilgrims are unable to depart as scheduled due to having tested + for Covid-19 or any other reasons.

Booking of 1 slot each for umrah, ziarah Raudah & Maqam are secured.

TOURIST VISA

More flexibility in the booking of hotel & ground services in the application of tourist visas.

The booking of 1 slot each for umrah, ziarah Raudah & Maqam are not secured by the Saudi operators. Tourist visa pilgrims need to secure the above on their own or assisted by their preferred Singapore travel agent.

Use of Smart Phones & Apps

2 apps are required (Tawakkalna & Eatmarna) for booking of umrah & daily prayers.

Pilgrims need to purchase a Saudi based SIM card in Saudi Arabia in order to use these apps.

The use of smartphone is required for all pilgrims.

SG Arrival Card / Electronic Health Declaration

Declare health & travel history online within 72 hours or 3 days before arrival in Singapore.

Information required includes the address of accommodation in Singapore and contact details.

Medical & Travel Insurance

COVERED

Emergency medical treatment and hospitalisation.

Treatment and hospitalisation due to Covid infections.

NOT COVERED

Outpatient treatment at private medical facilities.

Claims for travel inconveniences.

Pilgrims are strongly advised to have adequate travel insurance to cover for outpatient treatment, travel inconveniences and cancellation, especially arising from positive PCR tests prior to departure.

Limited Number Of Visits

Due to safedistancing measures and to prevent overcrowding, there are limitations imposed for entrance to Raudah, ziarah Maqam and performance of umrah. Visits to historical sites in Madinah and Makkah are presently also prohibited.

Umrah During The Current Pandemic

The Covid pandemic is constantly evolving and requirements may change at short notice.

Pilgrims should evaluate and consider if they are suited and ready to travel for umrah at this point of time.
